Stephanie provided invaluable assistance in helping my son write his college essay. Initially, my son was extremely nervous about the whole process. However, from the moment he met Stephanie, he felt at ease. She has a remarkable ability to alleviate fears and encourage openness, which is no small feat with a nervous teenager. I overheard their conversation and was amazed by how engaged and animated my son was. Stephanie not only managed to get him to share his thoughts and ideas, but she also had him laughing—a true testament to her rapport-building skills. Importantly, she respected the personal nature of this task, working directly with my son and not involving me, which I greatly appreciated. Based on our experience, I would recommend Stephanie to anyone seeking assistance with college essays. She is truly a rockstar!

Stephanie was incredibly thoughtful and patient with my daughter during the application process.  They began first exploring my daughter’s interests, perspective and voice, before choosing a topic and direction in which to write.  Her essay was charming and smart, concise and engaging, and gave her confidence in submission of her many applications.  I would highly recommend Stephanie.

Stephanie is a fantastic college essay editor who was crucial in helping me write a submission for my doctoral program. Stephanie’s educational experience and eye for detail were apparent in all our editing sessions. She helped me to work systematically through my essay, providing thoughtful feedback and revisions. Her editing process is smooth and effective, leaving me with an essay that I felt clearly articulated my message– and ultimately got me into my program. Thank you Stephanie for your expertise and support in the stressful time of college essay writing!

Stephanie is very knowledgable and understanding about kids' transitions to MS and HS and the increased independence that is required as they get older. She works to model and emphasize the benefits of experimenting with new EF strategies in an easily digestible way.  It is not a one size fits all approach. She advocates for the kids finding the methods that are best for them, and making small gradual changes so they do not get overwhelmed.

I have a hard time getting my thoughts down on paper but Stephanie had ways to make that easier, like she actually took down word for word what I said and helped me put my thoughts together so it all sounded like me but better than I usually do on my own.

I loved working with Stephanie on all of my essays and other assignments. Every meeting was personal and productive. I always had trouble going through the writing process, especially with topics from school. Stephanie guided me through the process every time and not only bumped my essay grades up by almost a full letter grade, but also gave me the tools to succeed at college level writing.

Stephanie made this process simple and painless for parents. My son never complained when he had to meet with Stephanie and acted responsibly throughout the entire process. At the end, he walked away with a complete essay which he was proud of.
